Oi! Everything that was up above on my chest must have been affected by gravity and sunk down to my abdomen to take up residence as my muffintop. I have a very tall and long girdle that works great....as long as I NEVER plan on using the bathroom again (it takes an hour to remove, therefore, I would probably need to wear Depends, making the whole point of wearing them silly!)<br />Your story made me laugh late at night, and wake up my sleeping hubby. The inner, constricting part, looks like a tank top. The outer top is knit. Just figuring out how to get the thing turned right side out after washing it is an exercise in futility. But when it is on, the midsection doesn&#39;t jiggle. The trick to concealing it is getting pants one size larger... it&#39;s all about making sure there&#39;s nothing TIGHT on the mid-section. I also have been raised by my Tiger Mom who always advised me to wear shapewear for special occasions, so I&#39;m used to the tight constricted can&#39;t breathe for vanity reasons we suit up. I have come to love spanx and they have ones that go to under your boob, and some Asians believe if you wear it for a long time, you will become skinnier.. it&#39;s that whole idea of binding something to make it the size you want (feet binding etc.).
