What I Found This Morning

In the kitchen:

2 boxes of empty Capri Sun
1 box with one Capri Sun
1 empty box of Special K in the pantry
1 empty box of instant oatmeal in the drawer
1 gallon container of empty milk in the refrigerator

In the girls' bathroom:

2 empty bottles in the shower
No soap in the dispenser
Empty toilet paper roll with a full roll of paper on the counter
Cotton balls, tissues, empty toilet paper rolls almost in the garbage but really on the floor

Like sands through the hour glass, so are the days of my life...

lol. loved that soap opera in seventh grade. yeah, i'm also unsure how seventh graders find time to watch soaps - i think it was summer. tell your kids "I'm not your housekeeper!" - I remember that phrase often from my own mother growing up.

I agree with the above commenter. Stop refilling everything and carry tissue in your pocket for bathroom runs, and take the shampoo and soap with you to the shower. They'll learn quickly to help with the stocking.

And then there are my boys. Who would simply shower without soap and shampoo and think nothing of it. I have to constantly insist on the importance of proper hygiene. Please....tell me they outgrow that.

What IS it with putting an empty box or milk jug back? Drives me insane!

Um, exactly WHAT were you doing in my house this morning?
Seriously, you'd have seen almost exactly the same thing. It drives me bat crap crazy. Also, empty ice trays in the freezer. Oh and we do have an ice maker - hubby just hasn't hooked it up. I mean, we've only lived here 6 months, so.....
shoot me.

My kids EXACTLY!!! Add three empty boxes for pop cans to the side of the fridge, since my kids learned it from their mom...
