Who's in Charge?

"Dad, are we almost home?"

"Yes, we're almost home."

"That's good."

"Do you want to be home?"

"I want to be almost home so that if you crash the car and die I can walk home to Mom and she can take care of me the rest of my life.  She's mostly in charge of me, you know."

"I love you, too, Bud."

"Thanks, Dad."

Ain't it the truth?

Don't athletes say "Hi, Mom" on camera all the time.

Sure, they love dad, they need dad - but Mom is generally the one who keeps their undies clean.

That's right.

P.S. And a little morbid :)

You'd think by the 4th kid going through the fascination with death stage I wouldn't have been surprised at this. But it still took me back just a little.

In addition, who wouldn't love Nancy more?

That. is awesome! And it's true. Right now, no matter what Splenda tries to do for Chloee, she gives him the big fat no and that "Mimi will do it"

And inside, I gloat just a little...
